There is no single universal set of “5 C’s,” but many leadership programs use them to describe practical emotional intelligence behaviors: consciousness, composure, compassion, communication, and courage. In the workplace, these translate into noticing emotional signals, regulating responses, understanding others, speaking clearly, and addressing difficult moments constructively instead of reactively.
